CCS KENT CLEANING PERSONNEL

CCS Kent endeavors to hire cleaning staff with the same work ethics and attitudes towards honesty and industriousness as the company itself. Teams of cleaners are organised who are fully trained to whatever standards are required. Larger sites will have an appointed senior member of cleaning staff to ensure that consistently high cleaning standards are met at all times.

On larger sites a weekly meeting plan is available for the senior member of cleaning staff to accompany an appointed member of the client’s staff on an inspection visit.

CCS Kent personnel are vetted to whatever standard is required by the client, including CRB checking where necessary but the standard level is to obtain references from previous employers.

CCS Kent has a team of area managers and cleaning supervisors and a team of cover cleaners who will cover staff sickness and holidays.

The CCS Kent team is a stable environment for cleaners to work in, many of CCS Kent’s cleaners have been employed for five years or more and some as long as twenty years.

We do not experience the high level of staff turnover usually associated with the cleaning industry. This we achieve by:

  • Hiring the right staff in the first instance
  • Presenting a professional image to our staff
  • Providing the correct training
  • Paying acceptable wages (wherever possible not minimum wage)
  • Making sure that they have the right equipment to carry out their tasks
  • Dealing with each member of staff as an individual but treating them as a member of a team

Staff Induction and Health and Safety

As a responsible employer, the well being of its staff is a priority of CCS Kent

All aspects of Health and Safety are strictly adhered to, from initial risk assessment to providing on-site manuals and COSHH packs. Each member of cleaning staff is given an induction at the outset of their employment into all aspects of Health and Safety, with particular reference to the site that they will be working on.
